Privacy notice

This site is run by Rich Software, Co. ("I", "me"), Tyler Rafferty's consulting company in Yorba Linda, CA. This notice explains what the site collects and what I do with it. The short version: very little, and only to reply to you.

What you send me

If you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, your email address, and whatever you write (including your Grails version, if you share it). I use it only to reply to you and to discuss possible work. I don't sell it, and I don't add you to a mailing list.

Form messages are sent through Amazon SES, an email delivery service, to my business inbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace. I keep messages for as long as they're useful for the conversation and for normal business records.

Spam protection

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser to do that. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. I don't set any cookies myself. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, processes standard request data such as IP addresses and may set strictly necessary security cookies.

Your choices

You can ask me what I have from you, or ask me to delete it, by emailing info@richsoftware.co.

Changes

If this notice changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
